First Federal Antifa Terror Convicts Land Historic 450-Year Sentences in Texas

Tonight on The Ezra Levant Show, independent journalist Andy Ngo detailed his exclusive reporting on the convictions of 16 North Texas Antifa members for a planned armed attack on an ICE detention facility in Alvarado. Prosecutors described a coordinated operation involving black bloc tactics, encrypted communications, firearms, explosives, and tactical training, resulting in charges of attempted murder and providing material support for terrorism.

The case has been labeled as the first federal convictions of Antifa members under U.S. law carrying combined sentences of 450 years in prison. Mainstream media has largely ignored the convictions, framing the defendants as activists rather than political extremists. Outlets have provided extensive coverage when right-wing figures appear in court proceedings but minimal attention to Antifa members convicted on terrorism-related charges.

The Texas state court rulings—which cannot be altered by presidential pardons—ensure these sentences remain permanent consequences. Andy Ngo, author of Unmasked: Inside Antifa’s Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy, and publisher of the Ngo Comment Substack, noted that Antifa has evolved from self-described anti-fascists into violent groups operating across the United States and Canada. He emphasized that the North Texas cell’s actions represent organized political violence rather than peaceful protest.
